Next week I’m off to Chisholme House in the Scottish Borders, to prepare for a one week residential cookery course with a difference.
From Sunday 10th August to Saturday 16th I will be cooking, talking about food, looking at the economics of food and farming, and the thinking about the future of food in our world with Aaron Cass, bread-maker supreme Robin Thompson, Colin Tudge [Campaign for Real Farming] , and Charlotte Maberly,[ leader, Slow Food Edinburgh and author of the Gastronomy MSc at Queen Margaret University].
Weather permitting, we will have wonderful produce to prepare from the walled garden, as well as lots of other local produce. This is a pilot project, which, if successful, we hope to repeat and expand at future dates.

Cooking on your birthday – that’s a bit rough!
Is there a Beshara involvement in the course?
Looks like fun – hope you have a great time.
All the best,
Scott
I’ve read further – now I see. Well done, Course Leader!
